2004 Chevy Nomad Concept Car
The Nomad shares GMs new Kappa architecture with the Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Curve. GM tried to bring the Nomad back to life once before, this stunning concept was unveiled at the 1999 Detroit auto show. “The Nomad is the type of vehicle that creates an instant bond with certain personalities.” Not a sedan, wagon, or SUV, the Nomad defies the traditional categories.
The Nomad concept incorporates a few nifty details to accommodate large, bulky cargo. The Nomad embraces a rear-wheel drive layout, something sports car enthusiasts can get excited about. As expected GMs advanced design team applied the retro-theme throughout the cabin with dazzling success. There is a very good chance that we will see a modern-day Nomad wandering the roadways of North America in the near future.
